DESCRIPTION

This 185-piece brass heat-set insert kit adds strong, reusable metric threads to 3D-printed and moulded plastic parts, covering five sizes from M2 to M5. Each knurled insert is pressed in with a soldering iron or heat-set tip, melting into the surrounding plastic and locking firmly in place as it cools, making it a workshop essential for makers, school D&T labs and prototyping teams across Singapore.

Double-band diagonal knurling resists both pull-out and rotation under screw torque, while the smooth lead-in collar at the base self-centres each insert in its pilot hole for straight, flush installation.
