The Camera Module OV7670 is a compact and versatile imaging solution. It incorporates the OV7670 image sensor, which is capable of capturing high-quality images and video with a resolution of up to 640x480 pixels (VGA). The module communicates with the Arduino board using Serial Camera Control Bus (SCCB) which is just an I2C interface and the corresponding pins for that are the SIOC (Serial Clock) and SIOD (Serial Data) pins, making it easy to integrate into Arduino projects.
- High Resolution: The OV7670 sensor supports resolutions ranging from 160x120 pixels (QVGA) to 640x480 pixels (VGA), allowing for a wide range of applications. The module also supports various image formats, including YUV, RGB, and JPEG, providing flexibility for different project requirements
