DESCRIPTION
The Serial MP3 Player is a compact audio playback module that plays MP3 and WAV files stored on a micro SD card, controlled via simple UART serial commands. Designed for integration with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers, it enables voice prompts, sound effects, and music playback in embedded projects with minimal wiring. Note that the module outputs a line-level audio signal — an external amplifier or amplified speaker is required for audible playback.
With support for folder-based file organisation, adjustable volume control, and a built-in DAC, the module delivers clean audio output suitable for a wide range of maker and IoT applications.
