Light, IR, and colour sensors detect and measure electromagnetic radiation in the visible and infrared spectrum, enabling projects that respond to ambient light, detect colours, follow lines, and sense IR signals from remote controls and beacons.

The range includes LDR light-dependent resistor modules, BH1750 and TSL2561 ambient light sensors, TCS3200 and TCS34725 colour recognition sensors, TCRT5000 IR reflective line sensors, and IR receiver and transmitter modules for remote control applications.

These sensors are used in Arduino line-following robots, colour-sorting machines, smart lighting systems that adjust to ambient conditions, IR remote control decoders, photogate timing experiments, STEM education projects, and any build where detecting or measuring light is a core requirement.
