DESCRIPTION
The Water Flow Sensor is great for measuring the water flow for your project. It is light, flexible, small sized and easy to install. Inside the impeller is made of stainless steel shaft and is sealed so water never leaks.
The Water Flow Sensor is made of Nylon and Glassfiber for durability and utilizes rotor components and hall sensors to detect water flow. When water flows through, the magnetic rotor rotates with the speed varying with the flow rate, and the hall sensor outputs the corresponding pulse signal which can be read by the microcontroller to determine the flow rate.
Common applications are water inlet side of the water heater, automatic water dispenser, drinking fountains, flow measurement equipments, etc.
