Audio modules add sound output to microcontroller projects, ranging from simple piezo buzzers for alerts to full MP3 players with amplified speaker output. They abstract the audio hardware, letting the microcontroller focus on playback logic rather than signal processing.

The range includes active and passive piezo buzzers, DFPlayer Mini and similar MP3 modules with SD card support, PAM8403 and MAX98357 class-D amplifier boards, and I2S audio modules compatible with ESP32 and Raspberry Pi.

Audio modules are used in alarm systems, musical instruments, voice notification devices, interactive toys, audio-reactive LED builds, STEM education projects, and any application where sound feedback or playback is a project requirement.
