Belts
Timing belts work in conjunction with toothed pulleys to transmit motion between shafts with precise synchronisation and no slippage. The toothed profile ensures that every rotation of the motor corresponds to a predictable and repeatable movement at the output, which is critical for positioning applications.
The range includes GT2 2mm pitch belts in standard closed-loop lengths and open-ended rolls for custom cut-to-length applications, as well as T5 5mm pitch belts for higher-load builds. Both rubber and polyurethane variants are available.
Timing belts are used in 3D printer X, Y, and Z axis drives, laser cutter and CNC motion systems, Arduino and Raspberry Pi linear actuators, STEM competition robot chassis, and any project where a precisely synchronised, slip-free power transmission is needed between a motor and its driven component.
