Touch, Sound and Vibration Sensors

Touch, sound, and vibration sensors detect physical contact, acoustic energy, and mechanical oscillation, enabling interactive, audio-responsive, and vibration-monitoring applications in maker and IoT projects.

The range includes capacitive touch sensor modules, KY-036 metal touch sensors, sound detection and level modules using the LM393 comparator, piezoelectric vibration sensors, and microphone modules with adjustable sensitivity thresholds.

These sensors are used in touch-activated switches and interfaces, clap-activated lighting, vibration-triggered alarms, acoustic monitoring systems, drum trigger circuits, STEM projects demonstrating sound and vibration physics, and any Arduino or ESP32 build where detecting a touch, sound, or physical shock is needed as a trigger or input.
