DESCRIPTION
This ACS721 current module is based on ACS712 sensor, which can accurately detect AC or DC current. The maximum AC or DC that can be detected can reach 5A/20A/30A, and the present current signal can be read via analog I/O port of Arduino.
Based on the precise, low-offset, linear hall circuit, this module provides economical and precise solutions for AC or DC current sensing in industrial, commercial, and communications systems. Please note that the chip on-board this module uses the hall effect to measure the current and as such is susceptible to magnetic interference.
Typical applications include motor control, load detection and management, switch mode power supplies, and overcurrent fault protection.
