DESCRIPTION
This shield is specially designed to expand Arduino Uno's IO, simplifying the connection or wiring needed to interface with an external sensor or actuator. The IO (Input Output) pins of Arduino Uno are expanded out into a 3-way header pin with SVG (Signal, Voltage, Ground) configuration, similar to the RC servo and RC receiver. And many sensors and actuators come in this form of wiring.
Besides the SVG header pins, this shield also provides ready 4-way header pins for URF, UART, I2C, and 6-way header pins for SD, APC220, and Bluetooth modules. With additional GND (Ground) and V(5V) on every IO expanded header, you will not need to worry about finding ground and power for RC servo and sensors.
With this IO expansion shield, you can also power the Arduino Uno with a 5V via the screw terminal on board.
