DESCRIPTION
The electromagnet produces a magnetic field when powered on. The strength of the magnetic field depends on the size of the electromagnet, as well as the conductivity of the surface.
To ensure optimal performance for electromagnet:
- Electromagnet must be in contact with the surface, with no objects separating in between
- The surface attached should be flat and clean
- The contact area of the object must be equal to or greater than that of the electromagnet
- Use correct power supply and current rating
- The surface must be a material with good magnetic conductivity
