DESCRIPTION
This LCD serial interface module can save you many pins as pin resources of Arduino controller is limited. Your project may be not able to use a normal LCD after connecting a few sensors or modules. However, with this I2C interface module, you will be able to interface a LCD display via only 2 wires. If you already have other I2C devices in your project, this LCD module actually cost no more resources at all.
Backlight can be controlled with the jumper cap, simply plug in to switch on backlight and unplug to switch off backlight. There is also a potentiometer on board for adjusting contrast - clockwise to increase, anticlockwise to decrease. These modules can be cascaded up to 8 different device addresses via shorting the A0 / A1 / A2 pads.
