DESCRIPTION
This stepper motor driver is a bipolar constant current chopper. Input signal is isolated via a high-speed optocoupler and stationary current is automatically reduced by half. It is suitable for any small / medium automatic equipment with CNC controller, such as X-Y-Z tables, labeling machines, laser cutters, engraving machines, and pick-place devices.
There are up to 32 segments of six types of sub-modes available. It uses standard common anode single pulse interface. When signal is removed, the stepper motor will lock it's position at the last position. There are built-in thermal protection and overcurrent protection, so you don't have to worry about damaging your stepper motor.
This stepper motor driver is a very popular driver for stepper motors. It is very stable with good heat dissipation and side screw mounting. Although it is rated 9 - 42V, you can also drive a 5V stepper motor with this!
