Multimeters
A multimeter is the fundamental diagnostic tool for electronics work, capable of measuring voltage, current, resistance, continuity, diode forward voltage, and in many models, capacitance and transistor gain. It is the first instrument reached for when troubleshooting a circuit.
Digital multimeters offer auto-ranging, clear numerical readouts, and safety ratings appropriate for the voltage levels encountered in electronics and low-voltage DC work. Compact handheld models are well-suited to bench and field use.
Multimeters are used by students learning circuit theory, hobbyists debugging Arduino and Raspberry Pi projects, engineers validating power rails and signal levels, and repair technicians diagnosing faults in consumer electronics, batteries, motors, and wiring harnesses.
