Solenoids

Solenoids are electromechanical devices that convert electrical current into a linear push or pull motion. When energised, a solenoid's plunger moves into the coil body against a spring, providing a fast, repeatable actuation stroke suitable for switching and latching applications.

The range includes push-type and pull-type DC solenoids in 5V and 12V variants with various stroke lengths and force ratings, suitable for direct switching via a relay or MOSFET driver from an Arduino or ESP32.

Solenoids are used in door lock mechanisms, pinball machine actuators, coin acceptors, fluid valve controls, robotic grippers, dispensing machines, and STEM project demonstrations of electromagnetic force and electromechanical switching.
