DESCRIPTION
This heavy-duty 12V DC Solenoid Door Lock is an electromagnetic access control component designed for reliable, secure locking on doors, cabinets, gates, and security enclosures. Engineered for integration into automated entry systems, it provides robust holding force when de-energized and instant, audible release upon 12-volt activation.
The bolt remains securely extended in its default, de-energized state. A short 12V DC pulse retracts the bolt, allowing the door to open. Power loss or system failure maintains lock security.
This solenoid is designed for momentary energization only (typically < 1 second) to retract the bolt. It is not rated for continuous (ON) duty. Prolonged power application will cause overheating, coil damage, and premature lock failure.
