DESCRIPTION

The 8-Digit LED Segment Display Module MAX7219 gives your Arduino, ESP32 or Raspberry Pi project eight bright red 7-segment digits driven entirely through the onboard MAX7219 chip, using just three GPIO pins. It's a popular choice among makers and students for building clocks, counters and instrumentation readouts without tying up dozens of pins on digit multiplexing.

The MAX7219 handles digit scanning, decoding and brightness control in hardware, so your microcontroller just streams data over a simple 3-wire serial interface.
