DESCRIPTION

The IR Gesture Sensor Switch Module is a high-sensitivity, non-contact controller designed for modern LED lighting integration. Operating on a wide voltage range of 5V to 24V DC, this compact module supports high-power loads up to 120W, making it the ideal solution for hands-free lighting control in hygiene-sensitive or high-utility areas.

Featuring an advanced infrared detection system with a sensing distance of up to 8cm, this module allows users to trigger lighting commands through simple hand gestures, eliminating the need for physical switches.

This module is engineered for flexibility, featuring a programmable jumper or solder-pad selector to toggle between six distinct functional modes:

• Hand Sweep - Fade On/Off: Smooth transition of light intensity when a hand is waved.
• Hand Sweep - Instant On/Off: Immediate switching for quick task lighting.
• Detection On / No Detection Off: Light stays on while an object (like a door) is away; turns off when blocked. (Ideal for wardrobes).
• Detection Off / No Detection On: Light turns off when an object is detected; turns on when clear.
• Hand Sweep - Fade On/Off + Dimming: Smooth switching with integrated brightness memory.
• Hand Sweep - Instant On/Off + Dimming: Rapid switching with integrated brightness memory.

Advanced Dimming Functionality

The module features an intelligent stepless dimming algorithm that allows for precise atmosphere control without flicking a switch.

How to Adjust Brightness:

• Enter Dimming Mode: Trigger the LED to "ON." Keep your hand within the 8cm sensing range. After 2 seconds, the module enters dimming mode.
• Adjusting Levels: Remove your hand and return it within 2 seconds to toggle between increasing (brightening) and decreasing (dimming) the light value.
• Saving Memory: Once the desired brightness is reached, remove your hand for more than 2 seconds. The module will save this setting to its internal memory, and subsequent hand sweeps will utilize this brightness level.
